History and creation of the Christ the King chasuble

During WWII II exceptionally beautiful embroideries were made. In this way the embroiderers could continue to work at Slabbinck. Chasuble 3870 is a reissue of such a masterpiece, still in the hands of the Slabbinck family. It is a reflection of a great tradition of hand embroidery and textile making in Flanders.
