This design is based on a detail from the St-Ursulla shrine. This shrine is decorated with panels that are painted by the Flemish Master Hans Memling in 1489. They are now archieved in the “Sint-Jan hospital” in Bruges, Belgium. Our founder Hendrik Slabbinck used this design as an inspiration to create this vestment. This design is hand embroidered on velvet, a great fabric that enhances the beauty of the embroidery work.
The vestment is made in Cantate, a fabric with woven gold threads which reflects the festive glory of the resurected Christ.
